Our Story
A former elementary school teacher turned full time mom of four young boys, I enjoy the good things in life, like baking and using my creativity to gift friends and family in thoughtful, unique ways. Using this creative energy, I turned this love of sharing goodness into a small business, offering homemade care packages and gifts.
The heart of Sending Goodness is sending your sentiments to someone, whether you are local or far away. I have ideas for all kinds of gift baskets, all with a homemade element to them. If you have your own ideas for a gift, but don’t have the time, I would love to put together your custom idea or theme for any occasion.
Growing up in a small town, we always sent thoughtful gifts, usually involving homemade food, around the holidays, to celebrate something good, or when someone was sick or grieving. Now that my family and friends are spread out all over the country, I am sensitive to the fact that we can’t always stop over someone’s house with a meal or thoughtful gift.

In early 2022, my dad was recovering from a hospital stay, and I wasn’t able to visit him in person right away. I sent him a care package full of thoughtful homemade things. I had no idea that he would pass away just a few days later. It gives me great comfort to know that in his final days, I was able to give him what I couldn’t do in person, send him some homemade goodness to let him know just how much I was thinking of him.
My Favorites
Sending Goodness is something I have always wanted to do. I decided to finally pursue this passion, and to start Sending Goodness in honor of my father.
The smiles and joy emanating from the Sending Goodness community have surprised and touched me more than I ever expected.
I hope that these boxes connect you and the ones you love.
